Aegist...thanks for the info, did the walk Sunday/Monday from Otford to Bundeena...ended up carrying all of our water - consumed about 6 liters plus using creek water at N. Era for cooking. Temps were warm and humid so when hotter you'll need more if carrying it.....there are plenty of good looking water sources along the way...and taps at Garie as you mention....the sources of most note were the 3 'major' creeks crossed between Garie and Wattamolla in the high rolling heath area which also for me was the most beautiful stretch of the hike - would love to poke around up the creek beds...plenty of stunning beauty counterbalanced by the almost cartoon zoo-like flavor to Wattamolla but then it was Easter Monday.

Hi Richard,
There are quite a few reliable water sources flowing down to the coast along this walk. Curracurong and Curracurang seem to be always running. Wattamolla, Marley, and there are taps at Garie (though I'm not sure if you will still need to filter that water or not.) Definitely carry pruifier tablets and/or a water purifier with you though.
