Julie's Trip Intentions

Going to meet Rod Smith in Wee Jasper tomorrow for a weekend of caving. We plan to explore the extension of level 3 in Dip Series, and check out Dangly Bits cave which neither of us have done. If there's time, I'd like to go through Punchbowl again and throw a rope down the Laundry Chute for a look before climbing the wall in the Loxin Chamber and rapping back into the Pitch Chamber. We'll scout the surface areas to looking for more Karst.
Staying in style at a cabin at the pub now the formidable Angie is no longer there. The new owner sounds very nice over the phone. Should be home late Sunday night armed with lots of photos!

My annual trip to New Zealand starts next week. First up, canyoning with Chucky in Christchurch as soon as I step off the plane. A quick little canyon with only a 7 minute walk in and 3 mins back to the car at the end. Now that's my sort of canyon!
Then it's down to Wanaka where I'll collect my guide for a week of pure mountaineering in Westlands national park. Then back to Wanaka where I'll meet Chucky's mate (who happens to be a local canyon guide) and get a couple of more canyons in.

If I'm not back, don't come looking!
