Hopefully doing Ashcroft Ravine sometime next week...

Following Friday (29th) I am leading a beginners trip through Dalpura Canyon. If you are one of the numerous people wanting to join me on a canyoning trip, this is your best chance. I am willing to take a large group through this canyon, but there are still practical limitations, so tell me quickly if you want to come before it does fill up. I hope to have a few experienced people with me, and if the group gets large enough we may split into two or three smaller parties.

For more information on the trip, read about it here: http://www.unswoc.org/trips/viewTrip.htm?trip_id=1413

Doing Butterbox Canyon with Joe Bugden and Chucky from New Zealand (from teh OzCanyons group). Meeting at Glenbrook at 8am. Joe is leading, and I expect we will be taking the climbing exit.

Start and finish is from near Mt Hay, Leura (Mt Hay Road). I will have the usual stuff, headlamp included although I expect we will be out reasonably quickly.

Doing Gobsmacker (Bowens Creek North branch lower section) according to the description found in Jamieson's guide.

Meeting Trevor, John and Rob at the entrance car park at 8am (on Wynnes Rock Road, Mount Wilson). Taking 30m rope, headlamp, lighter, dry thermals.

Should be out and within contact before 9pm.
