Heading out to Claustral Canyon on the 19th of December. A wet canyon, 3 abseils down slippery waterfall surfaces - experienced people only please.

Unfortunately this trip is already full (Claustral is a very popular canyon!). We have a few people from the UNSW Outdoors Club who have already signed up from their website (where I am a member), and a few friends coming.

What an incredible canyon. The water was a little high, which made for some pumping abseils. I can't wait to write up the trip report and put up the video log (just gotta do Fortress and Birrabang first).

Photos are online now though.

Well, it was high, but not that dangerous. You can watch the video (in the trip reports section, just search for it) and that will give you an idea. But that was back in December, so I have no idea what it is like now.
